Built at the beginning of the 20th century, buildings in Sofia capture with their lavish decoration, usually Baroque and Art Nouveau. Most of them were built according to the European model, because some of the architects who designed them studied abroad and transferred their knowledge to their native lands. On their roofs you can find sculptures, clocks and figures that captivate with their perfection.
