Bank building of Nikola Lazarov
Built in 1910, it is the pinnacle of Bulgarian architecture from the beginning of the last century. Its author is the well-known arch. Nikola Lazarov (built the Military Club, Mollov’s House, etc.).
Initially, the building was built on 3 floors for the needs of the Central Cooperative Bank. At the beginning of the 20s of the 20th century, its upgrading began, which was realized by the “Nichev & Fingov & Apostolov” architectural office.
It is located on Rakovski Street and Ivan Vazov Street.
The highlight of the beautiful building is the sculptural group of three human figures holding a globe, symbolizing the cooperative movement.
